Fantastic place for a bite to eat. Local small town feel. The food was absolutely delicious. Service was awesome - shout out to Chris our server. Everything was just perfect.

Obviously a favourite for locals and tourists alike. I'm glad I got there at the end of the breakfast rush and not the beginning.Service was friendly, food was plain but filling. The menu had quite a variety though it did seem breakfast was the primary focus.While there was some inside seating most of the tables were on a covered porch. There was dedicated bicycle parking, and even a fenced space for pets, I assume while their owners were Dining.

Fantastic experience! If you can, ask for Ismael - he was beyond wonderful and helpful. He even yoinked us the last 2 slices of chocolate pie. Not all heroes wear capes!

Delicious breakfast. The carnitas bene special and the spinach avo bene were fabulous! Our server, Rodrigo, was a delight. Super great service and so pleasant! No wonder this is a must do for breakfast in Carbondale!

We ordered 4 To Go burritos that were all AMAZING! Nastienka was so kind and made sure I got my favorite pork green chili and sides of salsa. Thanks!

Best breakfast in Carbondale. Long wait on Labor Day but worth it. I’m sensitive to gluten, dairy and eggs so breakfast places can be tricky. Village Smithy was very accommodating of my non-egg omelet request. They even had gluten free toast. It was delicious! I think I would have added meat to my meal because it wasn’t as filling as I would have liked. But it was still good.

Love this place! I used to come here when I was in Middle School w my family. By far the best breakfast place on the Western slope! Awesome food, great staff and wonderful environment! Thanks to Ismael for excellent service!

Been in business since 1975. I have eaten hear since 1981! Great food, family owned, highly recommended. Breakfast and lunch. I always get the heuvos rancheros.

Loved the chorizo breakfast skillet. At Allie's suggestion I tried their wheat toast and homemade raspberry jam (dessert), so glad I did!

Best breakfast place in town. You'll have a wait in the summer but well worth it. An absolute staple in the community.

Best breakfast on our trip roaming Colorado. I got a farmers omelette; delicious. My wife got the blueberry corn cakes. Tasty as well. Adrianne was a great server.

FANTASTIC outdoor patio for summertime dining. Breakfast and lunch menu (in photos). We LOVED the breakfast enchiladas. Candace was very attentive and very fun/friendly as our server. I also watched Jared work diligently to move an umbrella to create maximum shade for an elderly couple on the patio. This is what good business is about!

Great breakfast options. Hostess and waiter were both very welcoming. Enjoy coffee while you wait, self serve. Coffee is super delicious. Bathrooms are unisex and are very clean. Enjoy the dog park while you wait for a table. We stopped here after leaving the Bogan Flats campground. Worth the stop!

This place was a great find. We ended up going back a second time. The bloody Mary’s were delicious as was the food. Rodrigo was awesome. Consider yourself lucky if you are put in his section.

We came for breakfast because we want to support local business but left because the sign on the door says we must wear a mask to enter. Give me a break. Businesses need to stand up against this nonsensical tyranny if they want my money. Freedom over fear. #StopTheMaskCharade

This is a great little breakfast spot in the Carbondale area.They have been around since 1975 and they are still going strong.The wait is long but it is definitely worth it. The food and service was fantastic and we will definitely return anytime we are in Carbondale.

Stopped for brunch. It was delicious. Perfect amount of food. Ismael was a wonderful server, courteous and attentive.

So excited to stop by this popular brunch spot during our week-long camping trip. Friendly greeting by the hostess who put us on a short waiting list via text. There was outdoor picnic seating with canopy and shade which was ideal for COVID time dining. Our server was Ismael and he was very cheerful and knowledgeable about the day’s specials. We enjoyed our drinks (tequila sunrise and loaded bloody) and the entrees (the avocado toast with eggs and the eggs over hash browns and salsa). We also had one single blueberry cornmeal pancake for dessert. Thanks for the yummy meal!

Village Smithy was a great stop on our way out of Aspen although it would be just as great as a stop on our way in! The food is great and nowhere near as expensive as what you’d pay for food in Aspen. Our server Rodrigo was great. He was very friendly and made time to give a few local recommendations for stuff to do and things to see. Definitely stop by here for great food and great service!

We went for brunch on a Wednesday and were fortunate enough to not have to wait. The food was fresh, delicious, and quite enjoyable. All the staff was very friendly and informative. I loved the loaded bloody marry, great taste and plenty of goodies. Can't wait for our next visit, great local spot worth checking out.

We had an amazing breakfast on our way through Carbondale. Tia was so nice and friendly, and the food was fantastic. Great locally sourced foods and treats. Try the jam! 10/10 would recommend!

We’re local to Carbondale and we took a bunch of friends visiting and just like us, they LOVED IT! It’s the perfect brunch spot with an amazing variety. Ish our server was absolutely phenomenal. Quick and attentive- great joint!

Fresh squeezed juice and Deep fried french toast will bring you back.

Staff was great but the huevos rancheros was very bland. (July 6, 2020) Added extra pork green Chile sauce and it tasted old and very vinegary. Left a fowl taste in my opinion. Fortunately we are only passing through so we do not have to go there again. I left most of it on the plate.

Tasty, "down-home" dishes in a fun building with a historical feel. The service was wonderful and friendly. Though the dishes were reliable old favorites, they could use more seasoning to bring out all the flavors!

Came highly recommended from our Airbnb host - can't leave disappointed. Home cooking in a cozy atmosphere with a great 'front yard' right in the middle of town. Lots of good options for brunch / lunch, the tortillas were fresh and the eggs were excellent. See photos

The breakfast was delicious! I had the avacado toast balsamic with eggs. It was the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Dallas was our server and she was super friendly!

Awesome food, great service, felt very safe with distancing practices. Wide and spacious outdoor seating.

My friend and I stopped in for a quick bite to eat prior to an appointment. Chris was our waiter and was very nice and had very prompt service. I had the BYO mac n cheese with tomato and bacon and it was a yummy comfort food dish. My bestie had a burger and sweet potato fries- it was all very tasty. Good social distancing, no masks required once seated at the table to eat. Will definitely be back when visiting from Denver again!

If you're in the area, make time for a visit. Neat town and a unique place with good food and drinks.

From the fresh squeezes juices, fresh fruit, locally made jam, fresh baked goods, to the INCREDIBLE service (thank you Tina!) - you can't best this amazing locally owned breakfast spot. So spacious and intentionally planned. We will be back!

We love to go to the Smithy! I am a fan of their breakfasts and they never disappoint. My fear here is everyone who doesn’t already know will find out, then I’ll never get a seat!

Really lovely local spot! We had a late lunch and it was so homey and warm inside. We had very tasty Bloody Mary's! The menu had lots of gluten free options and many of the ingredients are locally sourced. I had the Santa Fe Corncakes and they were absolutely delicious!
